greetings. by way of introduction, i'm dani - new to the blogosphere, old (ish) to the earth game. i'm holed up in my un-boyfriend's venice apartment with its exposed brick walls and the ivy poring in through the windows. i'm sick and drowning in a neon sea of snot and so goes this go nowhere ramble that will now and forever (2012?) stand as my first official blogger blog (i also blog for the la weekly's style council, which requires a modicum of narrative, which requires me to go out, which requires donning a bra...the downside is obvious, n'est pas?).

i've nothing really to say today except hello and i could use some kleenex. just thought i'd give this thing a whirl and see how it all flows from here.

these are a couple drawings of mine. their relevance is questionable in light of how unsexy i'm feeling in this run-down traitor of a green and ailing body. it's simple, really: they make me smile. maybe they'll make you smile, too.
